Getting Personal with Ellen Alexander

 Hollywood. Champagnes. Celebrations — it was the Russian model, actress, and artist Ellen Alexander’s lifestyle before the pandemic.

“I was going out and partying pre-COVID. I had no time to deal with other things like writing, creating music, or painting.”

Now that the lockdown has been a year already, the Shadows singer has more time to spend with her interests.


“Now’s the best time to be creative. I want to share my experience, vision, and philosophy with the world.”



Dealing with heartbreaks

Self-discovery gave a whole lot of meaning to Ellen.

She was alone, but it was a perfect time to reflect on her heartbreaks. She formed “Shadows” as a message to look forward to new things, may it be in love or friendship.

Life for Ellen, in general, is all about saying hello to the new and saying goodbye to what you know, but not for people. “There will always be new ones coming around, but I will still welcome the previous ones.”

She also adds, “it was sad, but I’m also glad that a lot of things are in front of me, so I am looking forward to the [next journey].”

She’s grateful for all blessings and challenges that she is experiencing right now., as the song (Shadows) portrays, it’s all about looking at the brighter side of things emotionally and mentally.

Embracing new challenges and beginnings

The LA singer also shared how being born in the Soviet Union taught her to be competent, so she brings out all her creative writings in songs and books ( stay tuned for this).

For her, starting something new offers a whole lot of excitement and opportunity. “It’s always good to explore,” she said.

Since then, never stopped growing herself to provide more value and inspiration to people because she has a big dream — to share her experience, vision, and philosophy with everyone.
